The plastic C piece comes with a barrel bead and chod sleeve and allows the top bead to fall completely off, enabling the rig to freely travel up and off of the leadcore for total safety. In the event of a snapped line, the safety system will make sure the fish is not trailing a leader.

The Chod Safety System pack includes Barrel Beads, Chod Sleeves, and 'C' Type No Trace Beads, all in a weedy green color.
